In 2018 I was cleaning my closet and came across a bunch of purses and bags that I wasn’t using. I normally would have thrown them into a pile and taken them to my local goodwill drop off center, but I had a better idea. I thought that maybe someone in my community could use them and then the idea for BWAB sparked. I wanted to fill the bags with essential items that I am blessed to have every day. I spread the word using social media and word of mouth, and was able to collect 40 FULL bags within 2 weeks! See how the project went HERE.
So many people were excited to donate bags and items and spread love and kindness to those in need! It was such a special experience that I wanted to continue it the next year. In 2019 – we were able to collect more than 200 purses to donate! Click here to see how last year’s project went!
In 2020 the Christmas campaign collected & filled over 500 bags! BWAB is so thankful for your generosity.
Our community has been so generous to this organization – and I am excited to expand our efforts even more in 2021.
We are officially an Ohio Non-Profit With 501(c) Status Pending
BWAB collects & donates products for all genders. We are looking for bags of all shapes and sizes and items to fill them!
